### Recommended safety equipment

- **Hearing Protection**: To guard against excessive noise and prevent hearing loss, wear earplugs or ear muffs of the appropriate grade when using this equipment.
- **Shock Protection**: Warning - risk of electric shock. Using a residual current device (RCD) to protect the user from electric shock is recommended when using electrical equipment outdoors or in damp and wet conditions.
- **Full Face Shield**: Suitable face protection required. Several types are available to suit different applications such as full mesh for chainsaws & scrubcutters, clear shields for water blasting or welding helmets for arcwelding.
- **Breathing Filter**: A suitable face mask should be worn when using this equipment. General purpose disposable dust masks protect against low-risk dust and solid based airborne water sprays. Respiratory masks with appropriate filters are required for fumes and most nuisance levelodours. ALL DUST SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AS HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTHAND POTENTIALLY EXPLOSIVE.
- **Toxic Materials**: WARNING TOXIC GASES CAN BE HARMFULL OR FATAL. Engine/Heater exhaust gases are toxic: Do not operate in enclosed or confined spaces such as tanks, pits and other enclosed areas. Use only in well ventilated areas outside downwind from working site.
