HIREPOOL OPEN FOR CONTACTLESS HIRE DURING COVID-19 LEVEL-3

With the move to Level 3 for COVID-19 on Monday night 27th April, all Hirepool branches across the country have now resumed standard trading hours and offering contactless hires.

 

With the move to Level 3 for COVID-19 on Monday night 27th April, all Hirepool branches across the country have now resumed standard trading hours and offering contactless hires.

Under COVID-19 Level 3 restrictions to ensure the safety of our customers and staff, all equipment must be pre-ordered and reservations can be made by either 1) calling your local Hirepool branch, 2) calling your Hirepool rep or 3) ordering online at www.hirepool.co.nz

Existing Hirepool trade account customers can order equipment online and have it charged to their Hirepool trade account. If you haven’t done this before, it is a quick simple process to set up your online trade user account.  Click below to get started:    https://cart.hirepool.co.nz/register-trade

Non Hirepool trade account customers (cash customers) can also order equipment online and will just need to have a credit/debit card to make a booking.  A $1 pre authorisation will be charged to the card at the time of booking and the card will be charged for the full hire amount at the time the equipment is collected or delivered. Once the equipment has been pre-ordered, customers can choose to collect from a Hirepool branch or have the equipment delivered. If collecting equipment from the branch, you will need to remain in your vehicle upon arrival at the branch and our staff will attend to you from there to ensure a contactless collection.

Hirepool is currently offering a special ‘$20 for 20km’ delivery offer where customers can pre-order their equipment via any of the above methods and choose to have it delivered for $20 each way for deliveries up to 20km from their chosen branch. Some terms and conditions apply for this offer (for example, the item must be able to be carried/towed by a ute) and deliveries over 20km are priced on application.

Hirepool is in full support of the government’s restrictions around COVID-19, so to maintain the health and wellbeing of both our staff and customers, we will be continuing to observe the following procedures to ensure a contactless hire transaction.

During Level 3 Hirepool will be implementing the following procedures: 

 

Equipment for Collection

a. Customers must place their order online, or over the phone and are advised to book gear ahead of time.

b. If personally collecting your gear, please pull up where directed, and remain in the vehicle, our employees will maintain the 2-metre separation and arrange for loading of gear. 

c. Your paperwork for the hire will be emailed to you. By providing us with your email you are accepting the Hirepool terms & conditions on the hire. 

d. For gear which is towable, you will be responsible for checking that it is secure, as per normal. We will step away 2 metres while you check it.

e. A similar process applies to the end of any hire during this time. 

Equipment for Delivery

a. Customers must place their order online, or over the phone and are advised to book gear ahead of time.

b. Your paperwork for the hire will be emailed to you. By providing us your email you are accepting the Hirepool terms & conditions on the hire. 

c. Your gear will then be delivered to your chosen location. Our employees will maintain the 2-metre separation and arrange for the unloading of your gear. 

d. A similar process applies to the end of any hire during this time.
