Hirepool Lower Hutt was opened in December 1997 taking over the former premises of Bennett Hire. The branch moved to its present location in December 1999 for larger premises to allow the incorporation of specialist product divisions Hirepool Access and more recently Port-A-loo once the new purpose built and larger site at 2 Wakefield street in August 2004
