Hirepool New Lynn was opened in 1958 and was the third branch opened under the original Hirepool name. Now an institution in the New Lynn area, the branch has gone from strength to strength and growing and diversifying its fleet mix to meet the demands of the area, including the New Lynn rail cut out which was undertaken in 2009/2010
