Gisborne Hire was purchased by Hirepool in mid 2007, and refurbished with a grand opening under the Hirepool umbrella in September the same year. Today the Hirepool General Hire branch stands on the same site and is co-located with a Hirepool Party branch. The Gisborne branch successfully caters for the wider Eastern Bays area, with a strong and loyal customer base that spans, commercial and civil construction, local government and homeowners in the area.
